Brain Research Confirms PTSD Can Be Healed

Train Your Neuroplastic Brain

To Heal Your Trauma, to Rewire Your

Electric Frequency (Hz) from Fear to Love

Creator of the Universal Vibrational Therapy TM

War Trauma Survivor Christel B. D’Agostino, MSW, LCSW-R, CtH

Latest astounding advancements in neuroplasticity of the human brain reconfirm the validity of the Universal Vibrational Therapy TM and its distilled version, the CDset for “Healing PTSD Trauma”. It may take decades until recent discoveries reach main stream. By then, neuroscientists may have reached more advanced conclusions about the true nature of the innate human potential. Healing methods may assume an even faster speed in vibrational energy.

Many of you, veterans, have been suffering from your invisible wounds ever since you have returned home from war. You have become bitter that treatment of your PTSD, PTS has not shown the results in healing that you so richly deserved after having sacrificed your health in war. My heart goes out for you. Yes, physical and emotional treatment methods have been and are still lagging behind scientific discoveries. It shows the severe shortcoming of an imperfect world where specialization has become the norm. In the past this lack of knowledge could not have been bridged through the best Western healthcare system, Veterans Hospitals or government. It may be the hardest pill for you to swallow; yet, it is essential for you to accept this fact so you can move on to your own healing.

You may be aware of research which has studied the damage to the human brain rattling around during the blast pressure waves of artillery, IED’s etc. You may also have come across test results which show how much effort has been put into the design of a 100% protective helmet to protect soldiers in combat. Usually, soldiers with PTSD have been exposed to rattled brains durings blast waves. So if anybody were to assume that a soldier is weak because he suffers from PTSD has no idea of the variables of warfare. Instead of asking why did it happen, and why have I not been healed so far, you may want to learn how to master your life in unexpected ways.

By the way, your flashbacks, nightmares, and other triggers were originally only the warning signals of your energy sytem. The symptoms tend to be reinforced, since your energy system has not been fully recharged. Once your vibrational energies have been replenished, your subconscious will relay the message to all parts of your body. Your whole system will calm down. Neuroscientists have researched and documented exactly the interplay between different parts of your brain when the electric frequencies (in Hz) are changed from ‘fear’ to ‘love’.

Give yourself permission to stop punishing yourself for the shortcomings of the world around you. It is not too late to decide to conquer your post-traumatic stress. Summon the fighter spirit in you that knew his mission was to return from war alive. Do you recall your dreams and visions back then? Reflect upon them and determine how to bring them back to life. What can you do to change the frequencies from ‘fear’ to ‘love’ and once accomplished, how can you sustain the gains?

While I understand that my solution is not for everybody, it does work. If you are determined to say good-bye to your emotional trauma and its symptoms and you opt for a speedy rewiring of your electric circuitry, then my CDset “Healing PTSD Trauma” is the unique method for you, while the second component ‘Restabilize Your Energy’ will teach you the brief daily regime to sustain the gains achieved in the midst of disharmonious energies in your daily life.

Cultural-Generational Clash or PTSD

Trauma/PTSD passed on
within Families for Generations

by War Trauma Survivor Christel B. D’Agostino, MSW, LCSW-R, CtH

I have been emphasizing in my writing how to conquer post-combat stress and symptoms of PTSD. As a war trauma survivor I had created my Universal Vibrational Therapy TM over twenty years ago to heal my own trauma. My “Healing PTSD Trauma” CD set will allow you to heal your trauma too.

My “Healing PTSD Trauma” method was also designed to resolve the invisible wounds that you, a survivor of intergenerational trauma or transgenerational trauma, may be experiencing. Transgenerational or intergenerational trauma means that an emotional trauma has been passed down within families from one generation to the next. It tends to afflict families, exposed to the most horrendous atrocities in their country of origin, e.g. genocide like it happened in Cambodia. This subject has been taboo in your family. You may be clueless why your parents are always stressed out and why their behavior is so irrational. There is no need to fear that it is genetic. You get extremely anxious or hyperaroused when your parents are. From your perspective your parents are still stuck in ‘awkward’ customs of their native country and give you a hard time. You have no idea that their condition is called post-traumatic stress, PTSD, as is yours.

An outsider may assume a generational clash is taking place between you, the child, and your parent, aggravated by different cultural customs.

So here you are, trying to find out why you feel the way you do. You have experienced a childhood trauma of a very special kind. You have been exposed to the energies of war and terror which your parents have been carrying for decades, ever since you were conceived. As a small child you have observed your parents’ behavior and may have adopted it as your own. Your symptoms may range from emotional numbness to extreme anxiety. You may be withdrawn or prone to hypervigilance, violence, even belong to a gang to escape and commit crimes. Or you may have taken on your parents’ energy and become depressed when they are or overly stressed out, though there is no obvious reason for it. You may feel anxious, depressed, alone, with low-esteem, display suicidal behavior, and maybe engage in substance abuse.

In an ideal situation, you and your parents would have been able to share your mutual concerns. Your parents would have broken their silence and talked about their horrific experiences. A new understanding of your parents’ trauma and their symptoms of PTSD would have enabled you to enter into a more compassionate relationship with them. You would also have been able to explore your own feelings, develop resilience as coping mechanism in daily life or crisis situations with the aim to adopt a life-style filled with joy and happiness.

Maybe one day, you and your parents will heal from your respective traumas. The good news is that you don’t have to wait any longer to resolve your PTSD. My method is ideal when talking about your trauma is too painful and triggers all kinds of symptoms. It will heal your parents and your own symptoms of post-traumatic stress (PTSD). I am referring to the CD set “Healing PTSD Trauma”. You will comfortably relax in a chair while listening to the CDs. Your disruptive war energies and symptoms will be transmuted. You might want to listen first alone and then later together with your parents or the whole family. If called for, you can then interpret the text of the CDs. You might want to select what feels most comfortable in your situation. It will be so much easier to listen to the CDs in the comfort of your home than taking your reluctant parents to counseling sessions.

Will it not be wonderful for you and your parents to live together without having to fear that the energies of trauma and symptoms of PTSD will be retriggered? Can you imagine how greatly relieved you will be? It will feel like a huge burden has been lifted from your shoulders. It will be great to experience your parents completely relaxed and in a good mood. Can you imagine how much easier it will be to get along? Not only your parents will benefit greatly from healing PTSD, but so will you. Your symptoms of PTSD will be resolved too. You’ll be able to smile with a newly found sense of confidence and self-worth knowing that your future looks brighter than ever before.

Healing PTSD

PTSD Causes, Best Healing Methods
Under Review by Congress

Christel B. D’Agostino, MSW, LCSW-R, CtH
War Trauma Survivor, Creator of the Universal Vibrational Therapy TM

If you are wondering “What is PTSD?” you are not alone. The Congress requested to know and sponsored a nationwide research study to collect data from the DoD/VA to determine the cause of post-traumatic stress (PTSD) and the different treatment methods which heal PTSD best and are most cost-effective. Mostly traditional treatment methods used to heal PTSD were selected for the study. Commonly known is the President’s order for the DoD and VA to select their best ten innovative pilot programs created in the attempt to heal PTSD. Long-standing recommendations of The World Health Organization (WHO) how to heal PTSD have not been considered.

Since the 1980s the question “What is PTSD?” has puzzled the research community. Then, the American Psychiatric Association classified post-traumatic stress (PTSD) as a mental disorder and opened the doors for serious research as to its causes. Depending on the orientation of the particular research team different kinds of belief systems emerged. As a result, different kinds of treatment approaches to healing PTSD were innovated. The advance in biomolecular medicine allowed the increased use of medication to reduce symptoms and the emotional trauma.

Then, the VA was faced with the responsibility to evaluate the most appropriate psychotherapies and chose CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy) as a short-term treatment modality to heal PTSD. It was expected that symptoms of PTSD would be healed, once patients learned to confront their fears and terrors cognitively. The success rate of 50% seemed significant enough to consider CBT treatment a success. Gains achieved did not always last over time. Veterans would return for further PTSD healing or explore different ways to deal with their inner monsters. However, by necessity, too many veterans have been returning for decades for regular brief appointments to secure their prescription medication, in particular for the so-called secondary symptoms of PTSD, e.g. depression, insomnia. Not all patients react well to medication. Often serious side effects have been experienced.

Once Exposure or Virtual Reality therapy were added to CBT and then, EMDR, for faster results in healing PTSD, it has been puzzling to researchers that during the initial therapy sessions, veterans seemed to have healed their PTSD successfully, yet, would report during their follow-up appointment that they felt bad or even worse than before. Or patients would insist how much better they actually felt; yet, tests failed to confirm their convictions.

The answer to this phenomenon can be found in the large global data base of the World Health Organization (WHO), and in quite a few text books which I remember well from my own professional training. The World Health Organization strongly advises against having patients relive, or recount the life-threatening trauma in an effort to heal PTSD. Independent research in Israel, where the exposure therapy had originated, showed the same result: Patients who were exposed to relive or recount their trauma showed signs of reinforced PTSD. The World Health Organization has found that the victims do best in settings which provide a sense of security and acceptance within the community, followed by some culture-specific cleansing ritual to make the sufferer feel at home again. Since we don’t have these rituals, we need to innovate our own to healing PTSD.

Let me suggest my method of healing PTSD: the Universal Vibrational Therapy TM. I selected psychological theory as treatment protocol, while the invasive energies are being transmuted through an energetic shift of the Universal Vibrations. Through the shift the disrupted energies are being replenished through life-affirming vibrational energy. As a result, not only the symptoms of PTSD but also deep-seated feelings will be released from the subconscious.I am thinking of grief, mourning, shame, guilt, self-blame, self-indictment. It will feel like a big burden has been lifted from your shoulders and you will feel lighter. A brief daily regime to transmute any new unwanted energies is included. If you are willing to heal your PTSD, to own yourself, to enjoy life and all it has to offer, it will work for you.

The Universal Vibrational Therapy TM is now available on CD. It is increasingly popular as the self-help tool “Healing PTSD Trauma”.

PTSD: To Conquer or to Deal With It

Christel B. D’Agostino, MSW, L-CSW-R, CtH
Trauma Expert, War Trauma Survivor

PTSD: What do you expect from yourself –
To Conquer your PTSD or to Deal with it?
What is Your Choice?

heart-fieldYou have returned home from combat. After a few weeks you may start having flashbacks, or become hypervigilant with uncontrollable outbursts of rage. You may experience nightmares or a combination of all of these symptoms or even others. In the waiting room at the VA you get a chance to listen in on the conversations of other vets. You learn that some of them have been coming here for years, even decades, for their medication to support their mental and/or physical health. What about therapy you ask? It has not always worked.

Often it appeared as if their trauma treatment were successful, yet symptoms returned when least expected. You get a rundown of the different kinds of therapies which are being used at the different VA Hospitals. You hear that the VA has been sponsoring research in hopes to find more effective treatment methods than the ones prevalent right now. Finally, it is your turn. After the usual routine of test batteries and consultation, it turns out that your diagnosis is PTSD. Your treatment of short-term exposure therapy combined with cognitive-behavioral therapy is to start in a few weeks. A prescription is handed to you.

What is PTSD?

The American Psychiatric Association has classified post-traumatic stress (PTSD) as a mental disorder in their DSM-IV edition. It intends to change the diagnosis for veterans to post-combat stress in their next edition. In general, PTSD has been considered as a severe anxiety disorder, caused by exposure to a potentially life-threatening event. Looking at PTSD from a scientific viewpoint, you may start to wonder whether it might need to be reclassified as an energy disorder. Allow me to explain my viewpoint.

Scientists have long recognized that each cell in our physical body is supported by intricate systems of energy, i.e. the energy body.. Already in 1931 Nobel Prize-winner Otto Warburg measured tiny electronic voltages in cells. From then on, research continued with astounding results. The functioning of organs, e.g. kidneys or liver, has been measured by the different frequencies these tiny electromagnetic impulses emit. Not so long ago, a special version of the MRI has been designed to measure the energetic health of individuals diagnosed with blast-induced TBI and PTSD.

Aside from the energetic structures within the physical body, there is also a broad protective layer, the energy field, around the body, with the function to protect the energy body, and the other bodies (i.e. mental, emotional, physical, spiritual) from invasion of hostile energies. On the battlefield this protective energy field is overpowered by the onslaught of powerful hostile energy waves, (i.e. blasts of IEDs). These hostile energies proceed to invade the energy body. The energy body then alarms the other bodies in a chain reaction. According to Integrative Medicine the body which was attacked first, needs to be healed first. In this case, the energy body has been violated first. Therefore, it needs to be healed first. Only then, healing the other bodies fully will succeed.

While the invasion of our energy body and the chain reaction to alarm the other bodies occurs, the only message which our conscious awareness understands is when the PTSD symptoms set in. It is the signal to heal the compromised energy body, to take action to heal and strengthen it. Only then, it can re-assume its natural role to protect the physical body and to prevent further harm. To conclude:

PTSD is the signal of the energy body, to alarm all other systems that the energy body has been invaded. Action needs to be taken to heal the energy body, to strengthen it again so it can re-assume its natural role to protect the whole body and to prevent further harm to the whole system.

What is the unique advantage of energy therapy?

Energy therapy does not desensitize you to suppress your feelings. On the contrary, once the traumatic event and its symptoms have been transmuted through an energetic shift in a very gentle fashion, without having to relive the trauma, you will rediscover the richness of your inner self. The Universal Vibrational Therapy TM is the energy therapy which offers you in-depth healing of any emotional trauma which caused your symptoms of post-combat stress. I created it in 1992 to heal my own war trauma. It has withstood the test of time. I have been trauma-free for over twenty years now. The Universal Vibrational Therapy TM has become the foundation of “Healing PTSD Trauma”. which I have developed with you, Veterans, in mind so you can listen to my CD set and experience the energetic shift of having the roots of your emotional trauma transmuted in the privacy of your home. Any secondary symptoms like depression are transmuted as well. Once your energetic health is restored, you want to maintain it through a brief daily routine to fight off any new invasive energies, which easily bombard each and every one in chaotic times.

Will you assume the responsibility for your trauma treatment and conquer your PTSD through the Universal Vibrational Therapy TM? You will be free to rediscover your inner self, create a rich life and follow your dreams and visions.

I would like to emphasize that the CDset is not only for veterans returning from the battlefield, but also for civilians either diagnosed with PTSD or any other trauma, e.g. mobbing, i.e. harassment at the workplace/school, invasive surgeries, sexual assault, childhood trauma, ancestral trauma, to name a few.

The CD set “Healing PTSD Trauma” and “Restabilize Your Energy” is based on the energetic shift of the Universal Vibrational Therapy TM to transmute the energies of any present or prior emotional trauma, the cause of your post-combat stress. While listening to the CD, your natural resilience will re-emerge, clarity of thought will be restored. Shame and guilt will be transmuted , as well as symptoms of anxiety and depression. The Success Strategies will encourage you to develop a certain expertise about your own energy body. Guidelines on how to erase old unwanted behavior patterns are included. “Restabilize Your Energy” serves as a reminder to maintain your energy field at all times in prime condition. The CD set “Healing PTSD Trauma” and “Restabilize Your Energy” will empower you to fulfill your dreams and visions.

Preventing Suicide

WHY WOULD A YOUNG HERO COMMIT SUICIDE? Have you asked yourself this question?

In Memory of Clay Warren Hunt and all the other War Heroes who have served our country in patriotic duty and could no longer tolerate to live among us.
Why would a young war hero who seems to have everything going for him give up on life?

A) WHAT COULD BE THE REASON FOR SUICIDE HAPPENING BACK HOME?

– Could it be because PTSD/trauma came home with our hero?
– Does our hero feel unbearable shame and guilt over events which happened on foreign land?
– Has he lost buddies over there and blames himself for their death?
– Did his buddies die through friendly fire?
– Does he feel, he should have died, instead of his buddies?
– Does our hero feel drawn to join his buddies on the other side?
– Could he feel guilty for having caused the death of innocent civilians, adults and children alike?
– Has our hero been the victim of military rape?
– Does our hero feel alienated from everybody?
– Have family conflicts become too difficult to handle in addition to the invisible wounds?
– Has our hero been abandoned by spouse or lover?– Has our hero or heroine become homeless?
– Has our hero lost faith in himself and the world?– Does our hero feel as if he had lost his soul?
– Are you aware that certain depression drugs are associated with increased risk of suicide?
– Did our hero take to the bottle, misused drugs to drown emotional and physical pain?

B) WHAT COULD BE THE REASON FOR SUICIDE ON FOREIGN LAND?
– All of the above, or even more?

C) WHAT ARE POSSIBLE SUICIDE RISKS?
–  Exposure to the suicidal behavior of others
–  Keeping firearms in the house
–  Prior suicide attempts
– Chronic physical illness, including pain
– Incarceration
– Violence, physical/sexual abuse
– Family history of suicide, mental disorder, substance abuse.

D) WHAT ARE WARNING SIGNS?
– Our hero might say: “It would be better, if I was not around”.
– Feeling helpless, hopeless, worthless
– Saying “I want out”, “I’m tired of Life”
– Having a death wish, tempting fate: e.g. running red lights, driving too fast.
– Thinking or talking about suicide
– Sudden, unexpected switch from deep sadness to extreme happiness.
– Clinical depression: loss of interest, increasing loss of appetite and sleep, deep sadness.
– Visiting, calling people to say good-bye.

E) WHAT CAN YOU DO?
– Take our hero seriously.
– Listen to what the individual has to say.
– Ask what our hero is planning to do.
– Do not leave the individual alone.
– Depending on the situation call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline: 1-800-273-TALK (8255), or take the person to a health care professional or the emergency room. If all else fails, call 911.
– Be supportive in a very understanding way.
PLEASE BE PREPARED. YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO SAVE A LIFE.

Healing PTSD on Ice

Your most supportive Treatment choice?

Select “Healing PTSD Trauma” CD

Christel B. D’Agostino, MSW, LCSW-R, CtH

Minnesota Warriors, lots of people have been reading with excitement the blog about you.  Even though they may never have the opportunity to watch you on ice, you have become their heroes.  I am one of your fans,  too. Who among you, Veterans, fighting also PTSD, would want to skate on ice too?  You may ask what could be your most supportive treatment choice? There is no doubt in my mind. It is  “Healing PTSD Trauma” on CD.

Do you wish you could join the Minnesota Warriors and work on recovering from physical and mental wounds of war on the ice? You may want to incorporate my “Healing PTSD Trauma” to restabilize your energy.

In Minnesota, veterans have been given the chance to form an ice-hockey team, the Minnesota Warriors. Gear, locker and space are free of charge. They have been playing regularly. Their recovery process is not always easy; many of them have post-traumatic stress (PTSD). They understand each other, share their experiences, have found a community, have become brothers on the ice.

A similar team exists in Washington, DC; however, it appears the Minnesota Warriors are unique–may be, it is the way they have bonded with each other and are able to help each other out on ice.

Presently, the Minnesota Warriors are hoping that more veterans will be able to join the team. Their wish is to field multiple teams in the future.

While on ice, some of the symptoms of post-traumatic stress (PTSD) might be triggered again. Flashbacks might occur. But the Minnesota Warriors form a band of newly found brothers and know how to support each other.

To transmute the symptoms of  combat stress ( PTSD) and emotional trauma through an energetic shift is the purpose of “Healing PTSD Trauma” on CD.  It comes with a companion CD “Restabilize Your Energy” which trains how to maintain healthy energy in today’s world.  “Success Strategies” encourage to adopt wanted behavior patterns.

“Healing PTSD Trauma” on CD will heal any single or multiple emotional trauma, which may have occurred recently or decades ago. It includes emotional trauma of any kind.  Recent research has shown that many of our veterans have also sustained TBI. TBI in nature is traumatic. The emotional components of the trauma will be transmuted by “Healing PTSD Trauma” and so will any residue of the trauma, hidden in the subconscious.

As you may be aware, as a war trauma survivor I have created the Universal Vibrational Therapy™, a Service Mark in 1992, to heal my own war trauma. I have been symptom free since then.  You, too, can find lasting inner peace through “Healing PTSD Trauma” on CD. The intensity of your emotional trauma does not matter. It makes no difference when your trauma has occurred or how many trauma have accumulated during your lifetime.

Healing PTSD Trauma” on CD will allow you to resume your normal life and pursue your dreams whether as Warrior on Ice or as Warrior through Song.

Neuro-Bio Tests for PTSD?

“Healing PTSD Trauma” on CD

your cutting-edge vibrational solution

Christel B. D’Agostino, MSW, LCSW-R, CtH

There are all these disturbing news about veterans committing suicide and veterans’ accidental death due to powerful drug cocktails. When I came across the announcement about  Neuro-Bio blood tests and neuroceuticals for PTSD out of the cutting-edge field of neuroscience it felt like a breath of fresh air and renewed hope for all the sufferers of PTSD, their families and caretakers.

My “Healing PTSD Trauma” will not become obsolete, far from it. My Universal Vibrational Therapy ™ is also cutting-edge, in my case in the field of energy therapy. However, before I tell you more about “Healing PTSD Trauma” let me give you some information about Neuro-Biotech Corp., Basel, Switzerland , the Neuro-Bio test kits and distribution plans.

The Neuro-Bio test kits had originally been developed to test for progressive neurological diseases like Alzheimer’s. They are able to differentiate between vascular cognitive disorders (VCD), psychosis, senility, and dementia. Since the World Health Organization already declared in 2000 that PTSD/Stress was expected to become the number one health concern in our century, it made good sense to Neuro-Biotech to develop Neuro-Bio tests to diagnose levels of Stress/PTSD in the blood stream. This way other similar conditions could be ruled out easily.

Statistics released by the International Labor Office, Geneva, Switzerland are rather alarming: Stress related diseases and mental health problems in America have increased by 200% in the last FIVE YEARS at the annual cost of over US$80 billion. The Neuro-Biotech Blood Tests as early diagnosis and neuroceuticals as preventive treatment promise to reduce physical disease and long-term costs.

Medical records of the Civil War have proven beyond the shadow of a doubt that the young soldiers with a “Soldier’s Heart” had not only developed PTSD symptoms but they would also suffer from physical heart conditions and a myriad of other physical problems. Their life-span was considerably shortened.

Dr. Rahmin Ebrahimi of the Greater Los Angeles VA Center undertook a study of 300,000 veterans. His report stated that PTSD more than doubled the risk of veterans dying earlier than for those veterans without PTSD. He contributed this fact to the greater calcium built-up in the arteries which hardened the arteries. If the buildup in the arteries leads to the heart,  a heart attack may be the result. If on the other hand, the blockage is in the artery  to the brain, a stroke may occur.

Unfortunately, Dr. Ebrahimi was not in a position to rule out any other cause for the calcium built-up like the Neuro-Bio tests promise to be able to. The Neuro-Bio tests will for example provide an objective clinical measurement of the level of depression and stress/PTSD on the brain through bio-indicators released within the blood which assess the impact of the Sympathetic Nervous System on physical health. For further details see www.Neuro-Biotechcorp.com.

As a public company, Neuro-Biotech is now able to advance on a global scale. The corporation signed a licensing agreement with Israel; Sigma-Aldrich may manufacture the Stress/PTSD test kits.

Neuro-Biotech Corp. also entered into a licensing agreement with the Russian company Credo-TM which acquired the exclusive rights for Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and Kazakhstan to distribute the licensed blood test kits to measure PTSD and to participate in new research. Neuroceuticals will be available for treatment.

To prevent the effects of stress/PTSD and other conditions, Neuro-Biotech has adopted the mission to have every individual between 35-50 years tested on an ongoing basis. Credo-TM plans to have one million Russian military tested with Neuro-Biotech test kits. This is a research scientist’s dream to have a million volunteers for a study. Credo-TM claimed to have a contractual agreement with the Russian government.

I seem to remember reading about the VA’s having successfully used a blood test for a   war related condition. If VA research scientists were to be given the same chance to develop blood tests for the whole battery of conditions like Neuro-Biotech Corp. it would be a mile-stone into the right direction to conquer PTSD and related conditions and hopefully be able to eliminate drug cocktails for our soldiers.

Returning to my “Healing PTSD Trauma”, I want to tell you that my Universal Vibrational Therapy ™ resolves your present and past emotional trauma, regardless whether the trauma is of a simple or complex nature.

The symptoms of your PTSD might be: guilt of having survived, grieving the loss of a buddy, flashback of traumatic events, hypervigilance, uncontrollable bursts of anger, hypersensitivity to noise, smells, movements, insomnia, nightmares, feeling alienated from family, friends, community, no longer enjoying life Let me assure you, there is hope.

Healing PTSD Trauma” will neutralize your painful emotions through an energetic shift of the Universal Vibrational Therapy ™. It is an accelerated way to transmute toxic energies and replenish your energy body with healthy vibrations. You will also learn to “Restabilize Your Energies”. “Success Strategies” will encourage you to adopt healthy, life-affirming behavior patterns.

PTSD – Afraid to Burn Alive?

ptsd trauma

Caught in Flames – Physical & Emotional Trauma

Healing PTSD Trauma” Will Heal Your Emotions

Christel B. D’Agostino, MSW. LCSW-R, CtH

Healing PTSD Trauma” on CD resolves your post-traumatic stress (PTSD) and heals your emotions after your trauma. Yet, when caught in flames and suffering from sheer intolerable pain of second and third degree burns, all you yearn for is relief from the heat exuding from your traumatized body.

Exposure therapy has been attempted to help burn victims and PTSD patients desensitize from having been caught in a fire. However, instead of calming and soothing the physical pain, therapists witnessed how the patients were heating up even more so while exposed to the virtual reality of the usual PTSD exposure therapy scenario.

Prof. Hunter Hoffman had the ingenious idea that, if the patients’ burning flesh could be cooled down, patients might experience less discomfort and develop less anxiety and less reinforcement of their trauma while waiting for their dressing to be changed in the treatment room.

Prof. Hoffman and a few others created a unique virtual reality game: a snowball fight which cooled his patients flesh and took their minds off the pain of treatment. Patients put on helmets and noise-canceling headphones and emerged themselves into the Snow World to throw snowballs at snowmen, penguins, igloos and mammoths.

Prof. Hoffman’s idea worked: patients acknowledged that the video game had a cooling effect on their flesh and they felt calmer about treatment.

It is great that burn patients are getting an icy distraction from their physical pain in some trauma centers. If aside from the Snow World video, burn victims feel  the need to resolve their emotional trauma of being engulfed in flames,  “Healing PTSD Trauma” on CD offers a gentle, safe method to neutralizing the energies of  trauma, the fear of fire.

‘Healing PTSD Trauma’ for Military Wives

Military Wives Secondary PTSD

Caused by Daily Fears

Deployed Husband may not Come Home

Christel B. D’Agostino, MSW, LCSW-R, CtH

At the 2011 Military Health Conference it was pointed out that military spouses deserve more emotional support than they have been getting through mass media and from society. I want you to know Military Spouses ‘Healing PTSD Trauma’ is there for you too.

At the opening of the 2011 Military Health Conference, Deborah Mullen, the wife of Navy Admin. Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, spoke about the challenges military wives can be facing and what the military medical system can do for its service members’ spouses and children. It has become more obvious recently that military wives are often facing the same amount of post-traumatic stress (PTSD) as their husbands and may be hesitant to seek treatment for secondary PTSD, out of concern that it may tarnish their husband’s career chances.

One area of concern is the time it takes to process the disability evaluation forms. Since 2007 waiting time has been reduced from 500 days to about 180 days. This time span is still unbearably long for the servicemen and women and their families. Clifford L. Stanley, Undersecretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, pointed out that the disability evaluation system needs to be improved to the degree that there is no longer a waiting period.

Mrs. Mullen also acknowledged that the major contributing factor to secondary PTSD of military wives is the daily fear that their deployed husbands may not return home. Mass media has not sufficiently raised society’s understanding what immense daily stress military wives experience which over time, may lead to their secondary PTSD symptoms. The military wives’ situation has also been neglected by the VA for years. According to Mrs. Mullen this neglect needs to be remedied so that spouses no longer feel embarrassed to seek treatment for their PTSD. According to reports military spouses often self-medicate in order not to jeopardize their husbands’ career.

Since ‘Healing PTSD Trauma’ on CD is available for military spouses too, there is absolutely no reason to suffer from PTSD but to take action,  if you experience secondary symptoms of PTSD.

Let me point out a few of the symptoms of PTSD which military spouses and caregivers may experience: insomnia, anxiety, panic attacks, loss of concentration, depression, headaches, avoiding the outside world.

Wives may get so worn out by their post-traumatic stress (PTSD) that they stay in bed, neglect meals and their children, take recourse to alcohol, prescription drugs, even commit suicide as last resort.

Military spouses, I know how strong you are. Please continue to watch out for each other.

Healing PTSD Trauma” is there for you too to heal your symptoms of PTSD and trauma.

‘Healing PTSD Trauma’ – Journalists PTSD

Continue Your Career PTSD-Free

Unsung Heroes Heal Your PTSD/Trauma

Christel. B. D’Agostino, MSW, LCSW-R, CtH

Among the various groups of Unsung Heroes with PTSD are the journalists, reporters, photographers which do not only cover war trauma and acts of terror abroad but also local crimes. They are not immune to PTSD. Very often, they are risking their own lives to shoot a reportage in enemy territory. Their post-traumatic stress level is as high as the post-traumatic stress level of  the combat troops, the police, the firefighters, the emergency workers. The journalists will be suffering from symptoms of PTSD. They may experience flashbacks of the violence which had happened right in front of their own eyes.

Yahoo!Health reports on 12/17/2010 that research conducted in 2003 had found over one quarter of war correspondents suffering from post-traumatic stress (PTSD). This percentage is close to the 30% of the Vietnam veterans who have been diagnosed with PTSD. According to the U.S.  Department of Veterans Affairs this figure is close to four times higher than the one of the general public. It is evident that reporters have been exposed to more danger on the job than they were in the past.

The International News Safety Institute promotes the safety for people in the media. This Institute reaches out to journalists to alert them about the typical  signs of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).

Some of the symptoms of PTSD are: Nightmares or flashbacks at night, reliving the terror scene. Avoidance of certain places or smells. Emotional numbing of feelings. Hypervigilance, being ready for the enemy at all times. Fear, guilt, depression, suicidal thoughts.

‘Healing PTSD Trauma’ does not only heal the PTSD symptoms of present trauma but also of any past emotional trauma.

‘Healing PTSD Trauma’ is a therapeutic method which transmutes the energies of PTSD through an energetic shift. The emotions are neutralized while the memory of the traumatic event stays intact. As the memory of the trauma is woven into the tapestry of the individual’s life, it is transformed into a self-empowering event from which great strength can be derived.

‘Healing PTSD Trauma‘ was created by Universal Vibrational Therapy ™TM in 1992. Its founder, Christel B. D’Agostino, has been trauma-free since then which proves that the method has withstood the test of time.

‘Healing PTSD Trauma‘ is not only the ideal vibrational therapy to heal trauma after it has happened but it also teaches to strengthen the energy body to withstand any possible new traumatic incidents while continuing the career of an unsung hero, be it a veteran, a police officer, a journalist….
